When I was little my parents gave me a coloring book. That was the beginning for me artistically and the end of me figuring out what I want to do with my life. Since then I have studied several different types of media Currently I am trying to master the art of glass blowing. I have a long way to go at glass blowing but the journey there is what I live for. |

My compulsion to create will never be satisfied and my imagination will continually pull me into the depths of my mind until I pop out on the other side. My work celebrates the finite realm our bodies experience and recognizes the infinite levels of consciousness we can investigate and integrate. I want to explore what it means to be fully human and I will yowl at the trees until I remember. |

SHAWN PATTERSON…
is glad to be an art jerk. Since the kingdom of childhood, he has been enamored with words. with reading, writing, creating. soon after came the love and pursuit of music. and food. and….. he has studied arts at the academic, and some at the pre-professional levels: creative writing, culinary arts, music, martial arts, healing arts. many of which contain the innate quality of communication. if not with others (massage therapy,even), then within one’s own body/mind connection. mostly, he is intrigued with the simple act of expression. overcoming a long-time lack of confidence in ‘knowledge’ and abilities, he has just recently begun to be involved in groups with a focus on visual art. so he is glad, and also very grateful to be a jerk. |

has been passionate about the arts since a young age. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she embarked on a series of adventures around the country, working in creative fields such as glass art, floral design, and belly dance. She is currently earning a Masters in Art Therapy, while drawing inspiration for new projects from the unique culture of her present location. |
